Hello Friends,
I can't believe summer is almost over!
This season has been beautiful and busy for our family. This summer, we hiked Upstate and ate our weight in farmer's market produce: corn, peaches, and tomatoes galore.
I made my way out West twice - once to visit family in the wide open lands of Idaho and Wyoming. Another to host my first jewelry pop-up event in Denver, and to photograph my newest jewelry collection!
Here are a few updates from my design desk, including some interesting links:
1. Thanks to all the friendly old (and new!) faces for joining me at the beautiful Oxford Hotel for our Denver pop-up.
We had the loveliest time with you - sipping champagne, trying on new jewels, and chatting about custom projects. I'm already looking forward to my next Denver event. Perhaps for the holidays?
2. While in Denver, we saw this amazing band play at Cervantes. Since our trip, we've been listening non-stop. They give us Elton, Billy, and Eagles vibes. If you love new-retro, give them a listen.
3. August's birthstones are the peridot and the spinel. We recently created this custom ring for a client with a gorgeous trillion-shaped peridot and some of her heirloom family diamonds.
Spinel is a favorite (and famously underrated) gemstone. It comes in the juiciest color varieties and has great hardness, making it a durable choice for rings, necklaces, earrings.
You can explore our spinel offerings here.
4. We've been cooking at home a lot. Last weekend, I used grilled sweet corn from the Rhinebeck Farmer's Market, rotisserie chicken, and the sauce from this NYT recipe to make fabulous corn and chicken enchiladas. Highly recommend!
5. Over the last few months, I've been designing and producing new jewelry for an online release this fall! Folks at the Denver pop-up got a sneak peak.
The new collection involves antique yellow diamonds, trippy Australian Opals, and the most glorious artisan-mined New Mexican Turquoise. Stay tuned for their release in the coming months!
6. Last but not least, have you seen that I'm currently offering an online sample sale?
Help me make room in my studio for all the new fall jewelry. I've curated a collection of specially-priced jewels that will be offered for a limited time.
We don't often do sales - some of these one-of-a-kind jewels will be retired once they're gone...
Have questions about sizing for a potential sample sale investment? Want to see additional photos/video? Drop me a line so I can help. I'm happy to work with you via email, phone, text. You name it!
Enjoy the rest of your summer, friends :)
