Hello Friends,
I love this time of year, and this week in particular. For me, the week of Thanksgiving is always a special time to reflect. As a small business owner, I so often get sucked into the day-to-day details of jewelry design and business operations. I rarely take the time to zoom out and reflect on all the good things that have happened over the last year, and give thanks.
This week I’ve been thinking about the special creative projects that have come to fruition, and all the people who helped make them happen. The investments made by YOU, my beloved clients, supporters, and jewelry-lovers have allowed me to continue creating the work I believe in.
From the bottom of my heart - thank you for collecting, investing, and interacting with our jewelry. We create it with the sole intention of bringing you joy each time you wear it.
Here are a few updates from my design desk, including some interesting links:
1. What are you cooking for Thanksgiving? Ryan’s taking the lead in the kitchen this year, and I’ll be his sous chef :) He’s making these gorgeous five-spiced carrots, a blackberry apple pie, and a dry-brined turkey from woodstock meats. We got all of our produce at the kingston farmer’s market (one of my favorite places in Upstate NY!).
2. I’d love to stay at this colorful, modern home in the desert. Maybe we’ll try to take an adventure there after the holidays.
3. On Friday, we launched a very special collection of turquoise jewelry, with stones sourced from Cerrillos, New Mexico. Have you seen it yet? Here’s an interesting article about New Mexican Turquoise.
4. This holiday, we’re giving you a gift. In order to prioritize our small business team, we’re encouraging you to shop early. Place your orders ($750+) by 11/28 and receive a complimentary silver star necklace with purchase.
5. I succumbed to the green cabinet trend! We just painted our kitchen cabinets Benjamin Moore’s “Alligator Alley” just like Dakota Johnson did in her sweet mid-century home. I’ll post photos on instagram soon…
6. How great is this article about a chef who uses flowers in her cooking?
7. Our gift guide is LIVE and ready to assist you with all your holiday shopping needs. Shop by price, color, or style. Explore shipping deadlines. Reach out for customer service. Plus, we’ve added tons of new pieces over the last week, with more coming. Send us an email if you need some personalized shopping assistance :)
8. Last but not least, I’m hosting a holiday pop-up in NYC at The Moore, a boutique hotel in Chelsea - next week. Come join me to sip a glass of sparkling wine and see all the new jewels in a fun and festive setting. Invite your NYC friends!
That’s it for now, friends. Have a beautiful Thanksgiving!
